Social & Content Lead
About Fetch
Fetch is how modern pet parents give their pets the best care πΆπ±. One pink app π©· for insurance, health, and care. Easy, fair, and kinda fun. We've raised our Series A from Lightspeed and Airtree, customers love us (rated #1 by Choice Magazine!), and we're growing fast.
We're building Australia's most loved pet health brand, and now we want many more pet parents to notice us, follow us and share us. That's where you come in.
Location: Sydney (Hybrid, 3-4 days in-office, or out on a shoot)
Employment type: Full-time
Compensation: Competitive Series A salary + meaningful equity
Working with: Works closely with the Head of Marketing and the founders.
Your role
We're looking for a brilliant Social & Content Lead to make Fetch famous. Organic short-form is yours end to end: concept, script, shoot, edit, post, learn. TikTok, Reels and Shorts. You'll need to be fast, tasteful and properly internet-native, and your content should feel like it belongs in the feed, not like a brand trying to do TikTok.
Make Fetch worth following on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts
Own organic short-form end to end: concept, script, shoot, edit, post
Turn real Fetch moments into content people watch, save and send
What you'll build
A feed worth following: TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts that grow real engagement.
Repeatable series, not one-offs: formats that compound instead of random posts.
A trend radar: knowing early what Fetch should jump on, ignore or twist.
Fuel for paid: your best hooks, openings and variants feeding performance.
About you
You understand the internet in your bones. You know why a video gets watched twice, when a hook is too slow, and when a trend is already dead. Maybe you've worked at a consumer brand, an agency, a media company, or built your own channel. What matters is that you've made content people actually watched, saved and sent.
2+ years making short-form content, in-house, at an agency, or on your own channel
You've built or grown a channel with real engagement
You shoot and edit yourself (iPhone or mirrorless, CapCut, Premiere, or whatever ships fastest)
Strong writing across hooks, scripts and captions
You already use AI tools (Higgsfield, Descript, Runway, ElevenLabs, Claude) and know when to handcraft
Bonus: your own audience or personal channel
Beyond the CV:
You're funny, observant and brave
You can turn a small pet-parent truth into a big social idea
You're full of ideas, and you actually ship them
You can take feedback without getting weird about it
You love pets, and you get why people are obsessed with them π
You probably won't love this role if
You don't really live on TikTok, Reels or Shorts
You need a big team, a big budget or a perfect brief
You'd rather talk about strategy than make the thing
You're too polished to move quickly
What it's like here
We're ambitious, collaborative, and genuinely enjoy building together. The Fetch team is smart, thoughtful, and kind. Low ego, open, caring, and always supportive.
You'll be involved early in strategy. You're encouraged to give your opinion and debate with founders and the rest of the team
Weird is welcome. We value unexpected perspectives and people who think differently, so just be you
Work on a product genuinely loved by tens and tens of thousands of pets, pet parents and vets
We're growing FAST. It's an exciting time to join and you'll directly impact the future of our products
And the perks:
Competitive Series A salary + meaningful equity
Hybrid working (3-4 days in-office)
Latest MacBook Pro and a top setup
Two team retreats each year
Office dogs for cuddles and interruptions
Bean to cup coffee machine, unlimited fruit and snacks. Toblerone on-tap
How to apply
Apply via the link and send your TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or portfolio, anything that shows what you've made. Then tell us:
What's your best-performing piece of content, and why do you think it worked? (Drop a link if you can.)
What numbers can you share? Watch time, shares, saves, follower growth, anything.
What's one idea you'd make for Fetch in your first 30 days?
We care less about a perfect CV and more about whether you can make people pay attention.
