Head of Growth

About Fetch

Fetch is how modern pet parents give their pets the best care. One pink app 🩷 for insurance, health and care. We’ve raised our Series A from Lightspeed and Airtree, we’re rated 4.9⭐️ on Google, #1 by CHOICE, and we’re growing fast. Now we’re turning Australia’s fastest-growing pet insurance brand into Australia’s most-loved consumer pet health brand.

The role

We’re looking for an exceptional Head of Growth to own how Fetch grows: the strategy, system, and team.

This is a senior player-coach role across acquisition, conversion, lifecycle, referrals, partnerships, website, and new channels. Your job is to build the engine that gets Fetch in front of every pet parent in Australia - in ways that are creative and clever.

Growth has to feel like Fetch: crafted, warm, fun, trustworthy, and a little bit magic. The ad, the website, the landing page, the first 30 seconds in-app, the referral loop all matter.

  • Location: Sydney, hybrid, 3–4 days in office

  • Employment type: Full time

  • Compensation: Series A salary and equity

  • Working with: Reports to a co-founder and leads a small growth team. We’re flat, fast and care about the best idea.

What you’ll build and own

  • A growth engine that compounds: weekly testing rhythms across creative, paid, website, product, and lifecycle

  • A website and funnel that converts: thoughtful, clever, personal

  • New growth routes: vets, breeders, rescues, partnerships, community, and channels no one else in the category is trying

  • A scalable paid engine: Meta, TikTok, Google etc. with unit economics that hold as spend grows

  • An AI-native testing system: agents and workflows that test creative, landing pages, offers, and lifecycle ideas every week

  • A small team: hired, coached, and led by you

  • A clear view of what’s working: CAC, LTV, payback, conversion, retention

About you

You’ve scaled something before to hundreds of thousands of people, and you have the ambition and drive to make it happen again at Fetch.

This might look like:

  • 5+ years in growth, ideally in a venture-backed consumer business

  • Ownership across growth strategy, budget, team, and targets

  • Experience building a creative or growth-testing operation

  • Strong understanding of CAC, LTV, payback, cohorts, and conversion

  • Good judgement across copy, design, websites, landing pages, offers, and customer experience

  • A sharp eye for creative that works on Meta, TikTok etc.

Nice to have: subscription, referral, product-led growth, you don’t need insurtech or fintech experience!

You’ll probably love this role if:

  • You’re super ambitious and want to grow very fast!

  • You’re all in on AI

  • You’re optimistic and ambitious, and you make people around you want to go harder

  • You’re clever and creative, and come up with ideas others don’t

  • You care about tiny details that make a brand loved

  • You love pets 💗

You probably won’t love this role if:

  • You want a big team, big agency roster and distance from the work

  • You need perfect data, briefs or structure before moving

  • You’re uncomfortable being challenged, or think people should stay in their lane

  • You think growth is just numbers

What it’s like here

  • The Fetch team vibe is ambitious, smart, hard-working, thoughtful, and kind.

  • You’ll be involved early in strategy, with room to debate ideas with founders and the team

  • You’ll work on a product genuinely loved by pet parents, vets and the broader pet community

  • We’re growing fast, and you’ll directly shape the future of Fetch

Perks

  • Competitive Series A salary + meaningful equity

  • Hybrid working (3 days Sydney office, flexible WFH)

  • Latest MacBook Pro and a top setup

  • Two team retreats each year

  • Office dogs for cuddles and interruptions

  • Bean to cup coffee machine, unlimited fruit and snacks. Toblerone on-tap

  • Inclusive parental leave policy

  • 5 weeks annual leave
